Prescription medications

Chesapeake Care provides prescription medication to many of our patients. There is a $2 processing fee. Many patients also place a voluntary contribution in the donation box. Prescription medications are obtained though our medication assistance program (MAP) or purchased for the patients by the Clinic. Those prescriptions unavailable through MAP or not provided by the clinic may be purchased by the patient at the pharmacy of their choice with a prescription provided by the Clinic.

Medication Assistance Program (MAP)

Chesapeake Care processes hundreds of applications for free medication programs offered by pharmaceutical companies for uninsured and low income patients. These medications are processed by our pharmacist and dispensed to patients at scheduled pick up times.
